Firestone Liberia Honors Staff Employees
HARBEL, Liberia, West Africa (December 8, 2006)- Firestone Liberia has recognized 19 of its staff employees for the dedication, commitment and interest they have and continue to show in their respective areas of assignment over the years.
Speaking during the program, which took place during the evening of Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 in Harbel, Firestone Liberia’s Personnel Operations Manager Clara Reeves-Lymas said human resources are the most vital asset in any organization.
She stressed that without trained, committed and dedicated manpower, Firestone Liberia will not achieve its organizational objectives; and this is why it is important to motivate those who keep the wheels of the organization turning.
For his part, Firestone Liberia Industrial Relations Manager J. Feay Roberts said Firestone instituted the program as its way of showing appreciation to the employees for their services to the company.

Henry M.S. Kolleh of the Rubber Purchase Department, who spoke on behalf of the honorees, expressed gratitude to Firestone for the honor bestowed upon them and assured that they will continue to remain committed and dedicated to their duties. Kolleh also urged other employees to work harder than before so that they too can be recognized by their supervisors and company executives.
Earlier this year, Firestone Liberia held similar programs for its non-staff employees.
