Brick by Brick: The Business of Rebuilding Liberia

Firestone Liberia Provides Engineers and Donates Equipment for Bong County Road Project

Firestone Liberia is proud to assist Jorquelleh and Kokoyah district legislators in their Bong County road project. Firestone Liberia is providing the machinery and engineering personnel needed to complete repairs on this major road outlet connecting Bong County with Grand Bassa County.

These road repairs will allow the rural farming population of Bong County easier access to the general market in nearby Gbarnga. Since Jorquelleh and Kokoyah districts are considered to be among the county’s food basket, we believe the road repairs will make a sustainable improvement to the area’s economy. The last major maintenance project on the road was completed in 1986.

Even though Firestone Liberia calls Margibi County, Liberia, “home,” we are pleased that we can also assist  the citizenry and residents of others counties in Liberia experience safer travels.
